STEP BY STEP
1. Prep the nail. Proper prep ensures long-lasting results. Lightly buff the nail with a 180-grit file, push back cuticles with a wooden stick, and remove excess skin using a rounded tool with light pressure. Clean off all dust and proceed with e-file cuticle prep.
2. Apply Rubber Base. Apply a thin, gripping layer of SHIELD Rubber Base. Place a tiny drop on each nail and evenly spread it. Apply base coat to all five nails, then cure for 30s in UV/LED.
3. Create the Extension. Use upper forms and SHIELD Fiber Base Clear (not colored) for better control. Keep in mind that our extension has to be thin to avoid any bulkiness to the nail. Apply a drop of Fiber base into the upper form. Use a liner brush to evenly distribute the product. The final shape should resemble a circle or rounded oval. Flash cure for 10s. Wait for a few seconds and remove the extension from the upper form.
4. Stick the Extension. Apply a small drop of Fiber Base to the nail. Carefully place the extension on top, using an orange stick to press and remove bubbles. Cure each nail separately for the 60s. Remove the sticky layer.

5. Create the Apex. Use Gel in Bottle Light Rose #928 to build a structure. Apply a thin slip layer for a better product control, don't cure. Build the apex and cure for 60s in UV/LED. Remove the sticky layer.
6. File and Shape. Refine the shape using a 180-grit file, then remove dust.
7. Apply Top Coat. Apply SHIELD Classic Top in an even, smooth layer—avoiding bubbles. Cure for 60s in UV/LED for a flawless, high-shine finish.
