STEP BY STEP

1. Prep the nail. Start by prepping the natural nail plate with a 180 grit file. Push back the cuticles and perform a safe dry manicure. Trim the cuticles with scissors and remove any impurities from the nail surface.

2. Select the forms. Choose the desired upper form shape. Select the form that fits the natural nail perfectly.
Pro tip: Always choose one size larger than the natural nail for a better fit.

3. Apply Prep Solutions. Apply Dehydrator to remove excess oils and moisture from the nail plate. Apply Bonder - acid-free adhesion promoter to enhance the bond. (optional)

4. Apply Rubber Base. Apply a thin, gripping layer of SHIELD Rubber Base to ensure adhesion and extra support. You can work on 4 or 5 nails at a time. Cure for 30 seconds under UV/LED light. Remove the sticky layer left after curing.

5. Apply Jelly Gel. Using a flat brush, evenly distribute the Jelly Gel Medium in the form. Place the form onto the nail and flash cure for 5 seconds. Remove any excess gel and cure for 30 seconds.

6. Pinching. Pinch the nail to create a strong C-curve. Cure for 60 seconds. Repeat the process for all nails.

7. Remove Forms.
Remove all upper forms carefully. Clean the sticky layer using a cleanser.
8. Filing.
Use a slim conic drill bit to remove excess gel from the cuticle area. Shape the nails with a 180 grit file, refining the edges and overall shape. Buff to smooth out any imperfections.

9. Blend the Transition.
With the same drill bit, refine the transition between the natural nail and the gel from underneath the nail. Remove all dust before moving on.

10. Apply Top Coat. Apply SHIELD Shimmer Top Silver Dust for a minimalistic, sparkling finish. Work on 1 nail at a time. Cure for 60 seconds. Allow product to cool down for 1 minute.
