STEP BY STEP

1. Prep the nail. Perform a cuticle manicure to create a clean foundation. Trim and shape the nails with a 180-grit file, leaving a slight length margin for fine-tuning after the top coat to create crisp edges. Gently buff with a 180-grit buffer, remove dust. Apply Dehydrator and Bonder..

2. Apply Rubber base. Apply a thin, gripping layer of SHIELD Rubber Base, cure for 30s under UV/LED. You can do all 5 nails at a time. This layer protects the natural nail beneath the colored base. Insert separators to prevent smudging. If toenails are naturally spaced, they are optional but recommended.

3. Apply Fiber base. Apply 1-2 thin layers of SHIELD Fiber Base for the desired color intensity. Ensure the application is not too thick. Cure each layer for 60 seconds.

4. Remove Stickiness. After curing, remove the sticky layer using a lint-free wipe and cleanser.

5. File & Shape. Shape the nails with a 180-grit file for consistent size and shape before applying the French tip.

6. Draw the French line. Use SHIELD Color Power White #901 and a 12mm liner brush to paint the French tips. Cure each nail for 60 seconds. Start with the second toe, then the smaller ones, finishing with the big toenail. Keep the lines uniform, with a slightly thicker line on the big toenail for balance.

7. Apply Top. Apply SHIELD Smart Top Light or your favorite SHIELD top, cure 60s.
Start with the second toe, then the smaller ones, finishing with the big toenail.
Work at the speed that is comfortable for you, whether it's one nail at a time, 4, or 5 nails.

8. Final shaping. Refine the nail edges with a 240-grit file for crisp, sharp edges. Clean the nails with micellar water and wipe with lint-free wipes for a high-gloss, polished finish.
